If you’re a New Yorker, you probably have heard of Keen’s. This steakhouse has been around for decades and remains a bastion of old world New York culture. Unfortunately, there are some aspects of that culture that are fairly embarrassing.

Keen’s decoration motif features photos of NYC and culture from back in the day. Not too bad, right? Wrong. Up until recently, Keen’s still had photographs of people in blackface as part of their decor. They were removed this year.
