“André René Roussimoff, best known as André the Giant, was a French professional wrestler and actor. Roussimoff stood at over seven feet tall, which was a result of gigantism caused by excess growth hormone, and later resulted in acromegaly. It also led to his being called “The Eighth Wonder of the World””. – Wikipedia

Sadly, Andre died in his sleep of a heart attack in 1993, in a Paris hotel room. The worst part is that he was in Paris attending his fathers funeral! He extending his stay in France to visit his mother for her birthday, they spent the day prior to his death visiting and playing cards with some of his oldest friends in Molien.
