If someone mentions a pro wrestler who also may have murdered his girlfriend… then they must be talking about Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka! A Fijian pro wrestler, Snuka had a mighty career that started in 1968 as a bodybuilder and progressed into becoming a professional wrestler. From 1982 to 2014 Snuka graced the WWF, NWA and WWE stages, competing in many championships. Due to his high flying moves he gained a huge following and a loyal fan base. Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1996, he was a legend of the sport and had a huge amount of televisions championships and feuds. 

Snuka was married three times and had four children. Beyond a thrilling wrestling career, in 1983 his girlfriend Nancy Argentino died of mysterious head trauma, at the time of her death Snuka was the only suspect involved and charges were never pressed but the case was left officially open. Fast forward to 2015, Snuka was arrested and charged with third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter. He was ultimately found unfit to stand trial in 2016 due to being diagnosed with dementia. As his health declined, the charges were dismissed and Snuka died of terminal illness twelve days later at the age of 73.
