You might remember that celebrity chef Paula Deen got into a major scandal after she talked about potentially opening up a racist restaurant and used racial slurs. In her rant, she mentioned going to a restaurant that had a Southern plantation theme involving black waiters dressed as slaves.

Most people would expect a restaurant like that to be a thing of the past, but it’s not. Pittypat’s Porch, as it’s called, is still open despite the extremely racist theme. The Atlanta-based restaurant somehow still gets clients, and is considered to be a part of Georgia culture. That’s not something to be proud of, people!
