“All I ever did was sell beer and whiskey to our best people. All I ever did was supply a demand that was pretty popular. Why, the very guys that make my trade good are the ones that yell the loudest about me. Some of the leading judges use the stuff.” – Al Capone

Al Capone is hands down the most famous mobster in history. Known to many as ‘Scarface’ he was Brooklyn born and raised and went on to be the crime boss and co-founder of the Chicago Outfit, which he ruled for seven years. His most famous chaunt was the Valentine’s Day Massacre, where several members of rival gangs were murdered. After being convicted in 1931, he started to show signs of syphilitic dementia. He died of a stroke and cardiac arrest in 1947.
