Hollywood magic is real. The first five episodes of the Dukes of Hazzard were shot in northern Georgia. All the street scenes of the city center are actually from Covington, Georgia, but the rest of the show was shot in California.

Covington was so proud of those five episodes they built a small Dukes of Hazzard museum in the back of the A Touch of Country cafe.
