Dalí wasn’t shy about his fashion choices – and was known all throughout his life for his eclectic style and tastes. But did you know he famously collaborated with designer Elsa Schiaparelli in the 1930s? From a heel-shaped “shoe hat” to dinner dresses with a giant lobster on the front, the pair combined forces to design a beautifully insane collection. Pieces can be seen in the Dalí & Schiaparelli exhibit in the Dalí Museum – located in Florida.
Dalí also had many friendships in the fashion world, including Coco Chanel and Christian Dior.
