Yep, you read that correctly! John Schneider and Tom Wopat met while sitting next to each other… in bathroom stalls! The show has already casted Bo and needed to find a Luke.

They flew Wopat in for a screen test and when he got there, Schneider was in the bathroom. They walked in moments apart from each other and because Schneider had seen a guitar under that stall door, they began to talk music and had a very nice and easy exchange about this. They exited the bathroom, did a scene and the rest was history, Wopat was immediately hired to play Luke.
