Once he got stateside, he immediately moved to New York City, where he held an undefeated flyweight record. Impressive? Wait until you hear what else he did. He managed to get his wrestling belt while studying restaurant management in college and working at an ice cream truck based in Harlem.

While in the States, Hiroaki Aoki got a nickname thanks to his amazing fighting skills. People close to him called him “Rocky.” It’s a moniker that stuck with him for the rest of his life.
