Much like HIV, ebola has multiple strains that exist throughout the world…and all of them are highly lethal. This virus became the subject of media attention thanks to the book, The Hot Zone, which describes just how gruesome this illness truly is. 

When a person catches ebola, their insides basically liquefy themselves. Extreme pain, delirium, profuse vomiting, and irregular heartbeat are just some of the symptoms people experience.
