Marburg is similar to ebola, since it’s a hemorrhagic fever that’s caused by a virus carried through bodily fluids. Much like ebola, it’s known for causing severe internal bleeding and also being extremely contagious if proper measures aren’t taken. 

When Marburg first hit an epidemic stage, 1 out of every 4 sufferers died as a result. In its most recent incarnation, 4 out of every 5 people who catch it end up dying a horrific death.
